Students from the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health will host the 14th Annual Social Justice Symposium (SJS), Friday, April 3rd from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Drachman Hall, 1295 N Martin Ave. The theme of the symposium is, “Fostering Mental Health Together: Intersectional Approaches for Resilience”. The event is free and open to the public.
The keynote speaker is Michael Alcee, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist, who will explore the concept of "We are Many: Diversity and Resilience from the Inside Out". Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at Nursing, Room 117 (1305 N. Martin Ave. Tucson, AZ). Lunch will be provided for those who register by March 16th.
