Border health has wide-ranging implications that impact local, national, and global communities. The Southern Arizona international border region no longer exists in isolation and highly mobile populations present unique needs and challenges to the region. Improving health outcomes along this region requires specialized tools and strategic partnerships that can leverage existing resources within border communities while promoting binational collaboration. We encourage all interested parties to join us and our distinguished panel members as we discuss the roles individuals, groups, and agencies may play in recent, as well as future border health issues.
New this year
Collaborating with Delta Omega to accept submissions for oral presentations!
Delta Omega, a national public health honor society, is pleased to host an oral presentation session in collaboration with the poster forum. Five presenters will be competitively selected to share their work in an oral presentation format, with a $250 cash award for the highest scoring presenter.

Who can participate
University of Arizona graduate and undergraduate students who wish to present either:
- original research with a public health focus or application
- results of a community engagement, practice or service project with a public health application
